Zoe

Zoe is a human female monk and one of the last remaining members of the Snowmont Monastery, a secluded sanctuary nestled high within the passes of the Sword Mountains.

The Fall of Snowmont Monastery

During a devastating assault on the monastery by a horde of Ice Trolls and Ice Mephits, the sanctuary was almost completely annihilated. Although a survivor named Clarissa managed to reach the town of Phandalin and bring back a party of adventurers to help defend the holy site, the relief effort came at a catastrophic cost. The monastery was left in ruins, and neither Clarissa nor another defender named Dorian survived the final battle.

Zoe and a halfling monk named Jaque were the only two survivors of the tragedy.

Legacy and Gratitude

Following the defeat of the Ice Trolls, Zoe and Jaque met with the adventurers who saved them. Bound by gratitude but grieving their lost home, the two surviving monks gifted the party the remaining treasures from the Snowmont Monastery’s desecrated trove:
