The Wind Fan

The Wind Fan is a magical relic of the Sword Coast, recovered from the remote heights of the Sword Mountains. It was kept within the sacred vaults of the Snowmont Monastery before the sanctuary’s tragic fall.

Recovery and Acquisition

During a fierce and sudden assault on the Snowmont Monastery by a horde of Ice Trolls and Ice Mephits, the sanctuary was nearly completely demolished. The conflict claimed the lives of several defenders, including the brave Clarissa and Dorian. Only two monks—a halfling named Jaque and a human named Zoe—survived the onslaught.

In gratitude to the adventurers who defeated the trolls and saved what remained of their order, Jaque and Zoe gifted the party the surviving treasures of the monastery’s trove. Among these relics were a Pearl of Power, a Staff of Frost, and the Wind Fan.
