Dimblestib

Dimblestib is a notable gnomish inventor from Gnomengarde, a specialized cavern settlement of gnomes renowned for crafting magical items and clever contraptions. During a time of great peril along the Sword Coast, the adventuring party known as The Magnificent Five traveled to Gnomengarde seeking magical inventions to defend the region against the white dragon threat of Cryovain. Upon their arrival, they met Dimblestib and fellow inventor Dabbledob. Dimblestib warned the travelers of strange happenings deep within the caves. These disturbances were later revealed to be the work of two malicious, shape-shifting doppelgangers who had infiltrated Gnomengarde. One of these impostors disguised itself as a hospitable gnome woman to deceive visitors, while the overall plot drove King Korboz into a state of extreme paranoia and terror, leading him to tie up his beloved co-ruler, King Gnerki. Thanks to Dimblestib’s initial warnings, the party was able to confront the doppelgangers in the throne room, eventually slaying one, driving the other into exile, and freeing King Korboz.
