Trixie
Trixie is a dappled white and brown mare utilized by the adventuring party known as the Magnificent Five during their travels along the Sword Coast.
Journey to Conyberry
Following their hard-fought victory against the Redbrands in Phandalin and a harrowing excursion to the ruined Snowmont Monastery, the Magnificent Five needed to travel to Conyberry to consult with the banshee Agatha. To aid them on this journey, the party rented two horses: a black stallion named Glory and Trixie.
Thanks to these mounts, the party was able to cover ground quickly, eventually freeing the petrified ancient dwarf Gotrek, speaking with Agatha, and discovering critical intelligence regarding the white dragon Cryovain and the legendary wizard Elminster Aumar.
The Golden Bell of Ioun
In Conyberry, the party negotiated with a mysterious sorcerer wearing a many-headed dragon tattoo at the ruined temple of Ioun, the Knowing Mistress. Trading information regarding the green dragon Virethas, they received payment in the form of a humongous golden bell worth 2,500 gold. This massive bell was left resting on the ground right beside Trixie and Glory as the two horses quietly munched on a discarded bag of hay and grasses in the temple courtyard. The heavy bell was later melted down into smaller pieces by Farwald and Nalini to fit into a bag of holding before the campsite was ambushed by dragonborn and a green dragon wyrmling.
Overwatch at Dragon Barrow
Following the chaotic confrontation at the Dragon Barrow and the subsequent emergence of the resurrected green dragon Villathas, the party made camp nearby. When three Griffin Riders from Neverwinter approached, Erëvyn Sehahine took precautions. He fed an invisibility potion to Trixie—causing the mare considerable distress—and snuck behind a low hill to secure an overwatch position with his bow. Keeping the invisible, panicked horse from bolting turned out to be a highly challenging animal handling experience for Erëvyn.
