Dorian

Dorian was a resident—presumably one of the spiritual ascetics—of the Snowmont Monastery, an isolated sanctuary located high within the cold passes of the Sword Mountains.

The Fall of Snowmont

During a devastating elemental assault, Snowmont Monastery was besieged by a horde of Ice Trolls and Ice Mephits. A survivor named Clarissa fled down the mountain to the nearby settlement of Phandalin to rally aid. An alliance of adventurers quickly ascended the treacherous peaks, overcoming unstable mountain bridges to confront the monsters.

Although the adventurers ultimately defeated the trolls, the intervention came at a tragic cost. The monastery was left largely in ruins, and Dorian did not survive the violent clash. Clarissa, who had guided the party back to the site, also perished during the conflict. Following the battle, only two monks of the order remained: a halfling man named Jaque and a human woman named Zoe.
