Sarevok

Sarevok is an individual of dark infamy across the Sword Coast, known primarily for his slaying of the legendary hero Gorion of Candlekeep.

The Slaying of Gorion

Gorion of Candlekeep was a member of the Zhentarim and one of the celebrated heroes who stood against the Chromatic Dragons three centuries ago. Alongside legendary figures like Elminster Aumar, Lady Tanager Alagondar, and Uther Vendrock, Gorion helped the newly formed Lord’s Alliance push back the dragon threat and slay Virethas, the Jade Queen.

In the years following these historic triumphs, Sarevok confronted and killed Gorion of Candlekeep. This act of violence cut short the life of one of the realm’s historic protectors, cementing Sarevok’s reputation as a lethal and dangerous figure in the annals of the North.
