Luvat

Luvat is a powerful warrior who traverses time and planes to maintain the natural and cosmic balance. He is characterized by his heavy plate armor—which notably shares a common origin with the armor of the paladin Gilmore Stork—and he wields a massive, striking greatsword forged from blue crystal.

The Feywild Mission

Luvat, along with his companion Rocky, a sentient earth elemental, was sent from the Feywild on a temporal mission by Princess Glida of the Seelie Court. The Seelie Court dispatched them specifically to protect the fairy Nalini across different timelines and planes, following dark prophecies that foretold a future where the chromatic dragons triumph, throwing the material and fey realms into ash and ruin.

Temporal Disruption and Meeting the Enclave

Luvat possesses a non-linear experience of time. This is highlighted during his encounter with Nimiriel Nightbreeze, a ranger and guardian of the Emerald Grove in Neverwinter Wood. Upon seeing her, Luvat recognized her from a different point in time, greeting her with a cryptic paradox. This temporal awareness makes him a vital guide for those navigating the shifting crises of the North.

The Dream-Fight and Departure

Luvat and Rocky aided Nalini and her companions during a harrowing, shared nightmare in the Glade of Neverwinter Wood. In this vision, they battled and defeated a beholder from the Shadowfell that sought to ensure a dark future of dragon fire and demon flame.

Following the successful defense against the aberration, Luvat and Rocky prepared to return to their home plane. Before vanishing back to the Feywild, Luvat imparted final wisdom to Nalini, advising her to seek out and follow her brother, the ancient elf druid Esfaloth (also known as Reidoth). As a token of alliance and a parting gift, Luvat left his helmet behind in the glade.
